[ Some days it still feels surreal to be called the love of someone's life or to be reminded that he's loved her for as long as she's loved him, but she's not complaining. She's never even once complained about having to go on the run and give up everything to start a new life. It's actually been quite nice, especially because she's not had to fight anymore. ]

[ Her "studio" is a small storage room he'd converted into a working space. It had been really nice to do something with their hands that didn't involve fighting or destroying anything. She thought the quiet life would make her antsy eventually, but she's found a sense of peace and contentment she doesn't want to ever trade away.
She offers him one of the paintbrushes, serious about letting him help. On the canvas is Coney Island as she remembers from their childhood, rendered like a vintage photograph. ]
Needs some more clouds here. And maybe a couple birds.
Yeah, I'm thinking definitely some clouds and birds. Maybe a balloon? I always wanted a balloon as a kid and I couldn't afford to buy one for both me and Becca so she always got to have it.
( That's how Bucky's always been, willing to give away something he desperately wants to make someone else happy, and he thinks he still does it now. )
[ Her expression softens and, slipping an arm around his waist, she presses a kiss to his cheek. Becca hadn't been the only recipient of his kindness. She remembers one Christmas where he'd given her his share of the special holiday pie (and refused to share it when she counteroffered) because they hadn't accounted for her being over for dinner as her mother had taken on a shift at the hospital at the last minute. ]
I'll get you all the balloons you want the next time we go out.
[ Or maybe one for every year, on his birthday. Now that's an idea. ]
[ She says it offhandedly, stepping away from him to pick up a brush and start adding in some clouds. Clearly teasing. Clearly knowing that since she's brought it up, he's going to want it now.
She's the same way, though. She's not used to thinking about what she wants, let alone asking for it. She doesn't even buy herself things unless they're absolutely needed. ]

( Now he's thinking about sex and he wants it and he wonders if Steph didn't do that on purpose. He comes up behind her to evaluate the painting. He whispers against her neck. )
[ She laughs, because it worked. Though she pretends to still be focused on her painting, if only to mess with him a little. ]

[ She reaches for his hand with her free one, however, tugging and looping his arm around her waist. Really, when has she ever said no? Especially now that they answer to no one and can do whatever they want? ]

[ Not that she pulls away. And he knows her well enough to tell that she's not actually going to make him wait.
Since settling in Madripoor she's taken to wearing skirts more. A little reminder of the old days, but also because he likes it. (The yoga pants still make their regular appearance when she goes on her runs.) ]

( Bucky slides his hand up her skirt a bit, just his fingertips on her bare thigh, and he tries to lure her into stopping what she's doing and paying attention to him. She knows how he lives and dies for her attention. She has to. )
[ She sets the paintbrush down... somewhere, and with that hand now free, she reaches up to thread her fingers into his hair and tug him even closer. ]
You're irresistible. [ Because she knows he loves to hear it. ] Now shut up and let's fuck.
[ All that restless supersoldier energy has to go somewhere, right? ]
Oh, the great Captain America said the word fuck. I must have really turned her upside down for a word like that.
( He's grinning, though, and he tilts his head to kiss her. It'll never be normal to not have to bend down for it but it still feels right to kiss her, especially when he grabs her hips and hauls her up close to him. )
[ More like, with him she can be herself, not what the suit and the shield has demanded her to be. She doesn't have to pretend to be the responsible one or be so guarded and on her best behavior all the time. It's felt great, actually. Doesn't even matter that she's an internationally wanted fugitive now. Fuck the Accords.
It's still weird that she doesn't have to look all the way up at him now, but that doesn't make her want him any less. She presses into him with a moan, and she tries to maneuver them toward the nearest wall, his back to it, her fingers already working his jeans open. ]
Oh, so we're not taking our time? Got it. Always need to know the mission parameters and have a plan.
( He's always had a mouth on him, that's never changed, but right now his mouth probably needs to be occupied doing something else. He can't think about that, though, because her hands are on his jeans and he's about to be doing something a hell of a lot more fun than talking. )
[ "Mission parameters" makes her laugh, and she shoves him back playfully. One day that wall's going to give, because sometimes they forget that their surroundings aren't built the same way as they are. But not today. ]
Sarge. [ She gives him a look of mock exasperation. ] Stop talking and just enjoy this, yeah?
[ Of course, she knows he's not going to stop talking. So she doesn't wait, dropping to her knees and tugging down his jeans and underwear. He usually makes it a point that she comes first -- well before they find their way to their bed -- but she's determined to win their unspoken contest this time. ]
( Bucky never likes losing this contest, actually, but even a loss is still a win. He can't pretend that it feels bad to have her mouth on him and since he spent decades daydreaming about this very situation he's never going to reject it. Not once.
This not enough for you, huh? [ She grips his hips firmly enough that he'll actually have to put up a fight to get out of it. Which wouldn't be a bad thing, really, since she gets bossier the more riled up she becomes, moreso now that they're more than comfortable with their new lifestyle. ] I'm open to suggestions.
[ Now she's stalling, teasing just a little bit since, you know, he won't stop talking. ]
[ He doesn't shut up. Or at least, she makes sure he doesn't. Most days it still feels like they're making up for lost time, and she's certainly far from tired of his... enthusiasm. Especially when he starts calling her name. It's one of the best feelings in the world.
She's not quiet either. Her hands slip from his hips to his ass and she adjusts her position so he can thrust into her mouth, moaning as they pick up their pace. Fuck, it takes so little for him to drive her crazy. ]
( This is enough to make him shut up, in a way, because any words Bucky has die in his throat and he fists his hands in her hair instead. He rocks against her mouth gently because it's just too good not to move and he knows he's gonna pass out if she keeps this going too long. )
[ She moans when he fists her hair, though the sound is muffled with her mouth being full, and spurred by that, she tries to take him in deeper. Part of it is because she intends to win their little game, but mostly she just wants to leave him dazed with pleasure yet also wanting more. His happiness and contentment means so much to her.
While she plans to take him all the way, she won't fight him if he decides otherwise. It's really hot when he's all riled up. ]
