— she's a good cook, the food back then was just bad lol. she also used to mend her own clothes. she still did in the modern era, and she was fond of thrifting. until she got too busy avenging anyway.

— she liked wearing dresses. curling her hair was a routine as hair was a big deal back then. she stepped back from it when the avenging got serious, opting for more practical hairstyles like single braids and buns as well as more practical clothing like pants. (yes she owns a dyson airwrap lol!) post-endgame she would return to dresses and curling as a way of reclaiming her identity.

— her colorblindness type was tritanopia or blue blindness. when she could finally see blue, it became her favorite color. (the shade of her first suit was definitely the same as bucky's eyes. howard kept teasing her about it. also he called her "libby" lol)

— she primarily used pencils and ink in sketching because of her colorblindness and because it was just cheaper that way. she started exploring colors after she moved to d.c. post-avengers, but she was still unable to finish art school because of the whole hydra uprising. she got into painting post-snap and used it to cope with her grief, creating tribute paintings for her vanished comrades, though she never finished the portraits of those closest to her, refusing to accept their deaths. after endgame she started going digital.

— she does and has been doing art (and fanart) commissions online as an additional source of income. her artist pseudonym is "gracie b" (as in barnes 🙈 because she was still grieving him when she picked the name and thought he would appreciate the tribute).

— yes she had nsfw sketchpads. she still does. (whoever her ship partner is will have had lots of nude art done lolol)

— her mother saved up so she could go to art school and fulfill her dreams. to make sure she did, bucky went with her. (the first vengeance tie-in comic confirms this. also that bucky can't draw shit.) but like steve, she dropped out of art school when war broke out, though it was to go into nursing instead, which back then was a 36-month program while working hospital shifts. she applied for the cadet nurse corps, which had an accelerated 30-month program, but was rejected because of her poor health. (she was told she could use her art and help with the war effort by designing propaganda material, but she wanted a more involved way of helping, especially since bucky had enlisted.)

— she was allergic to pollen. and fur. poor bucky could not have a cat in consideration of her health.

— i've seen other players take the 'she was a nurse working for erskine who was given the serum after she got shot attempting to protect him' route, so i'm sticking with something else: erskine wanted a woman for the program. peggy backed this. (first vengeance also shows peggy being undercover with hydra and seeing what the serum had done to red skull first hand, and erskine's trust in her judgment.) shafting steph to the uso tours was top brass being angry that they wasted all that funding, and for what? what would they do with a woman in the army? preposterous.

— she ended up good friends with many of the chorus girls. there was still the whole theatre kid competition for who gets the lead role, but she was fiercely protective of her girls and eventually won them over.

— she was really good friends with peggy, howard and the howlies too. and later on the avengers. mcu made them act like they were just officemates. FOUND FAMILY PLS

— she has body image issues post-serum, hence her username. the body she has now is great and isn't actively trying to kill her anymore, but... it doesn't feel like hers??? the imposter syndrome, man. also she just rides along the ass jokes but is actually very :/ about them on the inside because aside from the sexism, it's not really hers. (her legs, though! she's always had nice long legs, even if she was unhealthily thin in the past.)

— the serum made her too perfect that she can't get pregnant. (as someone who's been pregnant twice, i know how pregnancy can fuck you up in the weirdest of ways. like losing your teeth is a very real possibility. among others.) which is really sad because as a depression era girlie her dream had been the house in the suburbs with the picket fence + marriage + children trifecta.

— since being serumed she's had to exert physical self-control all the damn time. even mundane things like sitting down or opening doors or holding a pencil or shaking someone's hand became difficult because of her super strength. she's constantly terrified about hurting other people because she loses control, and it doesn't even have to be from like, losing her temper.

— serumed steph has the stamina, but pre-serum steph has the sex drive HAHAHA she's demisexual though so it'll take a while to get there. but when it does... she can do this all day 🤪

— the language thing is just her image as cap, she was already a potty mouth in her youth and being in the army just amped it up. it mostly comes up with bucky though as she's more guarded around other people and basically wears the cap persona 24/7.

— her original moniker and the one she was known as during the uso tours was lady liberty. she hated it, thanks. bucky was the first to call her captain america. also, she didn't have a suit at first, not until after the azzano rescue mission. she didn't easily gain acceptance after that either; it essentially took bucky and the howling commandos' "validation" since female soldiers were still mostly unheard of. (though her exploits would lead to legislation post-WW2 that allowed women to serve 🙌🏻)

— whether or not they're the ship, bucky will always be a Very Important Person to her. you don't decide to become a fugitive just for any war criminal lol. besides, the codependency will always be there, oops.

— the plane crash was essentially a suicide, in the sense that when she realized her options were to let the plane hit new york or the water she didn't really... try to survive. because it's not like she's never jumped off a plane before. she could've swum and her body could've taken the exhaustion. but no, she chose to put the plane down and remain in it. she was tired, fam. her parents were dead, her body doesn't belong to her, and the only other person she considered her family was dead because of her.

— she's claustrophobic and hates the cold, thanks to being trapped under the ice.

— she's depressed post-endgame. the shield has been her identity for decades and then it's... not. she's been fighting for decades and then there's nothing to fight. the avengers have disbanded, her friends have moved on and are busy doing their own stuff... while she's "retired" and trying to adjust to civilian life.

— holidays are difficult for her. it's a case of seasonal affective senioritis (©️ freights lolol)

— when she went on that mission to return the stones she did first try to save her friends (bucky from hydra, nat from dying on vormir, tony from being killed by the stones), but gave up after all her attempts failed. (and there were many attempts. especially if bucky's the ship. she kept going back in time and got increasingly depressed and guilty that she couldn't undo it.)

— she did not abandon everyone to retire in the past (especially sharon and wanda) but idk canon still happened somehow. maybe she failed when she tried to help. just more to be sad about.

— in most psls she ends up opening an art gallery post-tfatws and rebuilding her identity as an artist. until she's inevitably pulled back into the fighting anyway. (she either rejoins the avengers under sam as nomad or secretly backs bucky up and is a reservist for the thunderbolts lol.)
